Queen’s Day Amsterdam
Queen’s Day is a national holiday (30 April) in the Netherlands. This day is celebrated with lots of festivities & parties and a ‘free market’. A ‘free market’ is held throughout the city of Amsterdam, meaning anyone can sell anything they like, and the vast terrain of pavements become a comical open-air showroom of items ranging from precious arts to complete junk.
Queen’s Day in Amsterdam is probably the biggest party of the year. Queen’s Day is a real madhouse and a highlight on the annual calendar. This is the opportunity to experience the orange madness on the 30th of April. A great period to visit Amsterdam!
